          Ashkan Pouya Chairman

Ashkan Pouya is an experienced serial entrepreneur. He has been involved in the establishment of several research-intensive companies, both in executive and non-executive positions. He is a board member of a range of companies and serves as the chairman of Serendipity Innovations. He was the director of innovation at Lund University 2010-2011. Ashkan has a business degree from Uppsala University, from Queens University and from the WHU-Otto Besheim School of Management in Germany. Furthermore, he has been a succesful sports athlete and was awarded world champion in Combat Jujutsu in year 2000.

      Saeid Esmaeilzadeh Board Member

Saeid is a serial entrepreneur having established and managed a range of research-intensive companies in various industries. Saeid is a professor in material chemistry at Stockholm University where he in 2002 became the youngest associate professor in Sweden. He has received many distinctions and awards for his research as well as for his achievements as an entrepreneur. Saeid is an experienced board member and since 2010 the CEO of Serendipity Innovations, an investment firm specialized in venture management.

      Mikael Lönn Board member

Mikael Lönn has a wide experience from private companies in the healthcare sector as a medical entrepreneur. Mikael is the founder and owner of M&M Medical AB and has operated Sabbatsbergs local hospital in Stockholm an several other clinics. He holds a Doctor of Medicine and specilist in urologic surgery. Mikael is today involved in financial investments and is engaged in companies ranging from county-owned to private including as well as several fund constellations.

Dr. Hassan Abou-Kansoul Board member

Hassan Abou-Kansoul is a practitioner surgeon with three specialist competences, primary expertise is within transplantation surgery. As a researcher Hassan has been the initiator for several product development projects in surgery and holds patents in several of these projects. Hassan has surgical experience from prominent clinics in USA, Rumania, UK and Sweden. He is also the inventor of the VasCuring® technology.
